Amur Shipyard secured state defense contracts until 2028 — governor
The shipyard holds the necessary licenses to perform a full range of work for the construction, repair, and disposal of warships, submarines, and vessels with any type of propulsion system
MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. The Amur Shipyard in the Khabarovsk Region will be fully provided with the state defense procurement contracts for building warships until 2028, the region’s governor Dmitry Demeshin told TASS.
"This year, the Amur Shipyard is projected to reach full capacity, having obtained state defense procurement contracts for building warships until 2028," he said.
The Amur Shipyard (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) is one of the largest shipbuilding enterprises in Russia’s Far East. The shipyard holds the necessary licenses to perform a full range of work for the construction, repair, and disposal of warships, submarines, and vessels with any type of propulsion system. Over its nearly 90-year history, the shipyard has built more than 350 ships and vessels for various purposes. The shipyard is included in the list of strategic enterprises and organizations of the Russian Federation.
