MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. The High-Precision Systems holding company (part of the state tech corporation Rostec) has delivered a batch of upgraded BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles equipped with enhanced protection kits to the troops, the Rostec press service reported.

"The High-Precision Systems holding company of the Rostec state corporation has delivered a batch of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles to the Russian Defense Ministry. The January delivery volume surpassed the planned figures by 40%. The vehicles received a number of modifications that enhance their effectiveness and protection," Rostec representatives said.

They noted that today’s standard BMP-3 configuration differs significantly from the vehicles delivered to the main customer before the start of the special military operation in Ukraine. Over the past four years, dozens of design changes have been implemented. These include additional protection—side skirts, grilles, upper hemisphere protection sets, and stealth systems—as well as specialized instruments and equipment that enhance the vehicle's mobility and weapon performance.

Rostec emphasized that infantry fighting vehicles produced by the High Precision Systems holding company are valued by the military for their mobility, high fire efficiency, and ease of operation. Moreover, the BMP-3 is continuously modernized and upgraded based on real combat experience.
