Dollar rate on interbank market rises above 77 rubles, first time since January 22

MOSCOW, February 2. /TASS/. The dollar exchange rate on Russia’s interbank market rose above 77 rubles for the first time since January 22, 2026, trading data showed.

As of 10:55 a.m. Moscow time, the dollar was up 1.92% at 77.19 rubles. At the same time, the euro rose by 1.7% to 91.281 rubles.

By 12:10 p.m. Moscow time, the dollar on the interbank market slowed its gains to 77.04 rubles, up 1.72%, while the European currency accelerated, reaching 91.483 rubles, up 1.92%.
