MOSCOW, May 21. /TASS/. Russia’s Pacific Fleet regularly receives new warships, submarines and aircraft, Russian Navy Commander Admiral Alexander Moiseyev said, congratulating sailors and veterans on the Pacific Fleet day.

"The fleet’s combat potential improves steadily," he said. "The fleet is getting new warships, submarines, aircraft and state-of-the-art weapons. Coastal and social infrastructure is developing actively. All military units of the Pacific Fleet are ready to fulfill assignments within shortest possible timeframes."

He said that this year, the fleet’s military units have demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and combat readiness during various training events.
