MINSK, March 31. /TASS/. Minsk customs officers have apprehended a border violator, a US citizen, who was traveling from Lithuania in an empty railroad car, according to a statement from the State Customs Committee (SCC).

"During border control procedures at the Molodechno railway station, Minsk customs officers identified a border violator," the message states. "A 27-year-old US citizen was found traveling in one of the empty cars of the Kena-Molodechno train."

The border trespasser was promptly detained by the customs alert group in cooperation with the Molodechno police and paramilitary railway guards. The detainee has since been handed over to border control authorities for further investigation.
