VLADIKAVKAZ, December 31. /TASS/. A drone was shot down over the test range in North Ossetia, head of the republic Sergey Menyailo said on his Telegram channel.

"Air defenses downed a drone over the Shalkhi test range. No victims and damage are reported," the he wrote.

The drone threat was announced in regions of the North Caucasian Federal District from 04:00 a.m. local time (01:00 a.m. GMT), Menyailo noted. "The Vladikavkaz Airport is closed for arrivals and departures of airplanes," he added.
