MOSCOW, December 9. /TASS/. A naval group of the Russian Pacific Fleet has wrapped up its visit to the Chinese port of Qingdao, the Fleet’s press office reported on Monday.

"The Russian naval group consisting of the corvettes Gromky, Rezky and Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov and the tanker Pechenga has completed its business call at the port of Qingdao of the People’s Republic of China," the press office said in a statement.

During several days of their stay at the Chinese port, the Russian naval sailors participated in sports and cultural events. The warships’ commanders held meetings with the Qingdao administration and representatives of China’s Northern Theater Command Navy, it specified.

After leaving the Chinese port of Qingdao, the Russian naval ships set course for the Pacific Fleet’s main naval base in Vladivostok, it said.
