Air defenses repel massive drone attack on South Russia, woman wounded
In the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, drone fragments fell near a house, the female owner of the house was wounded
KRASNODAR, November 28. /TASS/. Russia’s air defense units repelled a massive drone attack on two populated areas in south Russia’s Krasnodar Region in the early hours of Thursday, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said.
"Earlier today, our air defenses thwarted a yet another attempted terrorist attack on the Krasnodar Region. Two municipalities were targeted during a massive drone attack," he wrote on Telegram.
"In the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban, drone fragments fell near a house. Windows in the building were smashed. Sadly, the female owner of the house was wounded," the governor added.
The woman received first aid at the scene and refused to go to hospital for further treatment.
In the same town, a car was damaged by drone fragments.
In a separate development, a house was damaged in a village in the Krasnoarmeisky district. No casualties were reported.
