Three countries express interest in BrahMos missiles

"Talks are being held with Indonesia, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates," Alexander Maksichev revealed

NEW DELHI, November 27. /TASS/. The Russian-Indian venture BrahMos Aerospace is discussing supplies of their BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles with Vietnam, Indonesia, and the UAE, Managing Co-Director Alexander Maksichev told TASS.

"Talks are being held with Indonesia, Vietnam, and the [United Arab] Emirates. These are the countries showing interest in the first instance," Maksichev said.

"These three countries," he added, answering the question, with whom BrahMos missile supply contracts can be signed. The executive did not go into detail on the status of talks on armament procurement.

The BrahMos missile is currently in the inventory of the Indian Armed Forces. BrahMos Aerospace also offers such missiles for exports. The Philippines became their first customer.
