Defense contractor delivers new batch of Su-34 bombers to Russia’s Aerospace Forces

MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the state tech corporation Rostec) has delivered a new batch of Su-34 frontline bombers to Russia’s Aerospace Forces, UAC CEO Vadim Badekha said on Monday.
"The timely fulfillment of the state defense contract is a key task of the UAC. Our workforces are doing this important job with honor. This is not the last batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers this year. These aircraft are the basic strike power of our frontline aviation and demonstrate their efficiency in real combat conditions," the UAC chief executive stressed.
The new fighter-bombers have undergone necessary testing and have been sent to the places of their operation, he added.
The Su-34 fighter-bomber is designed to engage ground (waterborne) and aerial targets, and also infrastructure sites shielded by air defenses and located at considerable distances from the aircraft’s airfield. The frontline bomber operates effectively under enemy fire and jamming day and night in adverse weather conditions and can also carry out aerial reconnaissance, the UAC press office reported.
