MELITOPOL, November 25. /TASS/. Russian troops have liberated about 8 square kilometers (about 3 square miles) as they advanced toward the locality of Velikaya Novosyolka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) from the east, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the Russian Civic Chamber’s commission on sovereignty, patriotic projects, and veteran support.

"On the outskirts east of Velikaya Novosyolka, Russian forces have liberated around 8 square kilometers over the past day," he told TASS.

Earlier, Rogov said Russian forces had pushed toward that locality from Novodonetskoye in the southeast and Yasnaya Polyana in the northeast.
