MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, during his visit to the special military operation zone, said that the best units of the Ukrainian armed forces have been eliminated.

He added that the Russian army has successfully thwarted the entire enemy's 2025 campaign.

Disruption of Ukrainian campaign

Russian troops have accelerated their advance in the special military operation zone and have effectively disrupted Kiev's 2025 military campaign, Belousov said.

The defense minister added that the enemy's best units have been destroyed.

Inspection of the Battlegroup North command post

Belousov held a working meeting at the command post of Russia's Battlegroup North, where the commanders briefed him on the current situation, the supply of troops in the special military operation zone, and the nature of the enemy's actions.

The defense minister also inspected the weapons produced by NATO countries and used by Ukraine.

Belousov expressed gratitude to the commanders of the group’s units for their exceptional combat performance and presented state awards to servicemen distinguished by bravery, courage, and heroism.

At a training range, he reviewed the organization of military personnel training, where units are currently undergoing combat alignment.

Alexander Lapin, commander of Russia's Battlegroup North, reported to Belousov on the progress of tasks within the group’s area of responsibility.
