Kalashnikov concern trains first group of operators for Bars-Sarmat UAV unit

MOSCOW, November 14. /TASS/. The first full-fledged group of drone operators for the new type Bars-Sarmat unit has been trained by the Kalashnikov concern’s specialists.
"The training lasted about three weeks. The soldiers studied the hardware, including the drones’ electronics, internal systems and rules of operation. They also underwent instruction in the use of drones in various conditions, mastered their control and simulated approach to targets," the unit’s spokesman has said.
The concern’s drones Kub, reconnaissance drones Granat-4 and Skat 350 M are now being used in the special operation’s zone. Also, mini-drones Goliaf and Karakurt have been tested in combat conditions.
Earlier it was reported that a new type of unit Bars-Sarmat had begun to be formed in the Zaporozhye Region. Its main task was to test in combat situations weapon samples developed on a proactive basis by defense industry enterprises.
