Russia ready to supply Su-57E fifth-generation fighter to foreign partners — UAC
The aircraft will take part in the airshow’s flight demonstration program while visitors will also be able to see the aircraft at the show’s static display
MOSCOW, November 7. /TASS/. The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of the state tech corporation Rostec) is ready to supply the Su-57E fifth-generation multirole fighter jet to foreign partners, the UAC press office said in the run-up to China Airshow 2024 in Zhuhai that will feature the fighter’s export version.
"The UAC is constantly increasing Su-57 production volumes and the Corporation is ready to offer this aircraft to its foreign partners. The presence of a fifth-generation fighter in Russia is an indicator of technological sovereignty and the high level of science and technology of the country. It is symbolic that exactly 10 years ago, the Su-35 was shown at this same exhibition [Airshow China in Zhuhai]. Since then, the aircraft has found its customers in many countries around the world," the press office said in a statement.
The Su-57E cutting-edge fifth-generation multirole fighter jet will be presented for the first time abroad. The aircraft will take part in the airshow’s flight demonstration program while visitors will also be able to see the aircraft at the show’s static display, it specified.
"The Corporation's stand will also be dedicated to the Su-57. Visitors will be able to ‘fly’ an interactive Su-57E simulator using virtual reality technologies," the press office added.
Airshow China is the country’s largest international aviation and aerospace exhibition held once every two years. Russian defense enterprises constantly feature their products at Airshow China. The exhibition focuses on military and civil aircraft, space, navigation and radar equipment, airborne armament, rocket engines, fire control and air defense systems.
This year, Airshow China 2024 will run on November 12-17.
