VIENNA, November 7. /TASS/. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) experts will remain at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) for as long as necessary, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said in a statement.
"We will stay <...> for as long as it is needed to help avert the threat of a nuclear accident that could have serious consequences for human health and the environment," the statement reads.
According to Grossi, the nuclear safety and security situation remains highly challenging at the ZNPP. The IAEA team "has continued to hear frequent explosions, some distance away from the ZNPP" but no damage to the facility has been reported, he added.
