Russian Guardsmen neutralize Ukrainian drone with 40 kg explosive in LPR
The Russian Guardsmen neutralized and destroyed the dangerous object, observing safety rules
MOSCOW, April 12. /TASS/. The Russian National Guard’s personnel neutralized a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with a 40 kg improvised explosive in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), the Guard’s press office told TASS on Friday.
"The Russian Guardsmen found an aircraft-type attack drone with an explosive in the Lugansk People’s Republic. During the inspection of the fallen UAV, Russian Guard engineers found an improvised 40 kg explosive as its warhead. The explosive consisted of 25 kg of tetryl and metal ball-shaped striking elements," the press office said in a statement.
The Russian Guardsmen neutralized and destroyed the dangerous object, observing safety rules. They handed over the drone’s memory chip to competent agencies for further study, it said.
