Kalashnikov to buy 450 new machine tools
The new digital, milling, processing and grinding tools are installed in new gunsmith and instrument production workshops
MOSCOW, April 11. /TASS/. The Kalashnikov Company said it would buy 450 new machine tools in 2024 to double the output and create new products.
"This year, the production capacity of the Kalashnikov enterprise will grow by 450 modern machine tools. In 2023, the enterprise acquired over 125 tools, which is several times more than in 2022. It became possible due to the complex investment project to develop production launched in 2022," it said.
The new digital, milling, processing and grinding tools are installed in new gunsmith and instrument production workshops. They more than doubled the output of precision munitions and combat firearms.
"The increased capacity is an important strategic indicator of the enterprise development. The potential of the plant allows producing both traditional arms and creating new types of special products. The demand for our products is sustainably high," Kalashnikov head Alan Lushnikov said.
