MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. The Central Research Institute of Precision Machine-Building (TsNIItochmash) of the Kalashnikov Company held preliminary trials of prototypes of multirole modular Voevoda-KSS webgear.
"The trials showed that the prototypes fully meet all the goals and tasks, enjoy excellent characteristics, and meet the high quality standards and safety requirements. Metrological studies of technical and design solutions are being held to determine compliance with GOST RV 0008-003-2019 standard," the Kalashnikov said.
The institute designed the webgear for short-distance shootout, active combat, as well as extreme weather and long-distance movement. It has considerable heat regulation and ergonomics together with a high reliability, it said.
After the trials, Voevoda-KSS will become a component of combat outfit with an optimal ratio of armored protection, macro ergonomics and transportability.
