Russian men sign army contracts to revenge Ukraine for Crocus attack
Over 100 thousand men have signed contracts since the beginning of the year, the Defense Ministry reported
MOSCOW, April 3. /TASS/. Close to 16 thousand men signed contracts with the Russian army in the past ten days and most of them said they want to revenge Ukraine for the deadly terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
"There is a considerable growth in the past ten days of those willing to sign contracts with the Defense Ministry and participate in the special military operation. Up to 1,700 men daily come to sign contracts across the country. In the past ten days close to 16 thousand citizens have signed the contracts," the Defense Ministry said.
Over 100 thousand men have signed contracts since the beginning of the year, it added.
The number of those willing to fight in Ukraine has increased in Moscow considerably, as most men want a revenge for the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall, the ministry said.
"Most candidates said the main reason to sign a contract was the wish of a revenge for those killed in the tragedy on March 22," it said.
