Defense companies in Russia’s Altai region working to upgrade arms production — Shoigu

MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Defense companies in the Altai Region, in Western Siberia’s southeast, are working to upgrade the production of weapons and ammunition, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said while inspecting the regional defense industry.
"Army General Sergey Shoigu noted that work on technical reequipment of almost the entire arms and ammunition production capacity has been launched at local companies pursuant to decisions taken by the Russian president," the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
Among other manufacturers, the Russian defense chief visited Technodinamika, a subsidiary of the Russian state high-tech export company Rostec, that specializes in the production of components for air and surface-to-air munitions, MLRS rockets, grenade launchers and belted ammunition.
