MOSCOW, March 9. /TASS/. Russia’s Aerospace Forces have destroyed two militant strongholds in the areas of Basankul and Ashkhani-Takhtani in Idlib province, the deputy chief of the Russian center for the reconciliation of conflicting parties in Syria Vadim Kulit has said.
"The Russian Aerospace Forces’ strikes in the areas of Basankul and Ashkhani-Takhtani in Idlib province destroyed two locations of militants involved in provocative bombardments of the Syrian government forces," Rear Admiral Kulit said.
He noted that one shelling of the Syrian government forces’ positions by the terrorist group Jabhat al-Nusra (banned in Russia) in Idlib province was also recorded in the Idlib de-escalation zone over the past 24 hours.
