MOSCOW, March 5. /TASS/. Russia has created centers to ensure information security in the fields of defense, space, healthcare, transport, communications, power engineering, etc., aide to Russian Security Council Secretary Dmitry Gribkov told the National Defense Journal.
"Specialized centers of information security competences are created to protect critical infrastructure. The centers have been created in the fields of healthcare, transport, communications, power engineering, banking business, defense and rocket-space industry, as well as other industries," he said.
Cooperation between state authorities and scientific organizations helped determine the guidelines for the design of information protection means. "In 2023, the production of certified means grew three times," he said.
Russia operates a state system that detects, prevents and eliminates the aftermath of computer attacks on Russian information resources. There is also a standby infrastructure to ensure the operation of Internet sites and applications. The creation of a technical system against DDoS attacks is nearing completion.
"The system will ensure uninterrupted monitoring and analysis of the Russian and foreign Internet traffic and will block it in case of malware," he said.
"In general, the latest measures helped prevent malfunctions of critical information infrastructure objects and ensured sustainability of the single communications network in conditions of unfriendly actions of foreign countries," Gribkov said.
