There are Soviet-made mines and NATO mines, the serviceman said

AVDEYEVKA, February 19. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces densely mined Avdeyevka, mainly using Soviet-made mines, but also those from NATO, said the commander of an engineering platoon with the call sign Usman.

"Dense mining - mixed types of minefields. There are also trap mines. The enemy is very clever in this regard. Therefore, we work carefully, slowly," said the commander of an engineering platoon in a video distributed by the Russian Defense Ministry.

He added that sappers mostly find "old Soviet-made mines."

"There are also NATO mines - a lot of them. [This is] dense mining [with] mixed types of minefields," the serviceman added.
