Battlegroup East thwarts 8 attempts by Ukrainian forces to rotate in South Donetsk area

MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. Over 24 hours, units of the Battlegroup East thwarted eight attempts of the Ukrainian armed forces to rotate in the southern Donetsk direction, destroyed 14 temporary deployment points, four control points for unmanned aircraft and two enemy field ammunition depots, head of the press center of the Battlegroup East, Alexander Gordeyev, told TASS.
"During the day, eight enemy attempts to carry out rotations in forward positions in the areas of Shevchenko, Staromayorsky, Rivnopol, Lugovsky and Dorozhnyanka were stopped," Gordeyev said.
According to him, strikes from bomber aircraft, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems hit strongholds and areas where manpower accumulated in the 58th motorized infantry brigade and the 127th terrestrial defense brigade in the Urozhaynoye and Priyutnoye areas. 14 temporary deployment points, 4 unmanned aircraft control points and two field ammunition depots were destroyed.
