MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. Russia’s air defenses destroyed 43 Ukrainian drones and intercepted a Tochka-U missile and two HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems in the past 24 hours, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

"Air defense systems intercepted a Tochka-U tactical missile, as well as two US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, in the past 24 hours," according to the report.

Some 43 Ukrainian drones were eliminated, particularly near the settlements of Veliky Vyselok, Liman Pervy of the Kharkov Region, Verkhnekamenka, Belogorovka, Shipilovka of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Spornoye, Soledar of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Peschanovka, Podlesnoye, Podstepnoye of the Kherson Region and Kamenka-Dneprovskaya of the Zaporozhye Region, the ministry said.
