MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. A Buk surface-to-air missile system of the Russian Battlegroup West curbed an attempt of Ukrainian armed forces to deliver an air strike against civilian installations in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian Ministry of Defense told TASS.
"The crew of the Buk surface-to-air missile system of the 6th combined arms army of the Battlegroup West curbed an attempt of the Ukrainian army to deliver an air strike against civilian infrastructural facilities in this [Kupyansk - TASS] direction. The system crew detected a fast-moving high altitude target launched from the enemy side during the combat duty mission and destroyed it in a matter of seconds," the ministry informed.
