Kalashnikov signs contract to supply Vikhr-1 missiles to friendly country

MOSCOW, January 11. /TASS/. Kalashnikov Concern concluded a large export contract for the supply of Vikhr-1 guided missiles to a friendly country, the concern’s press service reported.
"A large export contract has been concluded for the supply of Vikhr-1 guided missiles to a friendly state," the press service told reporters.
The Vikhr guided air missile is designed to eliminate ground-based agile armored vehicles fitted with dynamic protection modules, as well as medium-speed air targets (helicopters, assault aircraft, and drones). The Russian Defense Ministry regularly reports that Russian helicopter crews have used such missiles to destroy Western armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to analysts, the missile is capable of destroying virtually any Western tank.
