MOSCOW, January 7. /TASS/. Russia’s battlegroup West repelled 4 Ukrainian attacks on the Kupyansk direction in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported, adding that the enemy lost over 50 servicemen and 5 vehicles.

"On Kupyansk direction, actions of battlegroup West, aviation and artillery strikes repelled 4 attacks of 32nd, 43rd, 115th Mechanized and 95th Airborne brigades near settlements of Sinkovka and Ivanovka, Kharkov Region, and Terny, DPR. In addition, damage was inflicted on personnel of 103rd and 105th territorial defense brigades near settlements of Kislovka and Melovoye, Kharkov Region. The enemy lost over 50 servicemen, 2 BMP vehicles and 3 automobile vehicles," the Ministry said.
