MOSCOW, January 3. /TASS/. Russian troops have destroyed more than Ukrainian 50 servicemen in the Kherson area over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In the Kherson area, units of the battlegroup Dnepr, acting in cooperation with artillery, hit the enemy's manpower on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the areas of the Tyaginka, Ivanovka, Sadovoye and Tokarevka settlements in the Kherson Region. Destroyed were more than 50 servicemen, 2 armored fighting vehicles, 3 motor vehicles, a launcher of the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system, as well as a D-20 howitzer," the ministry said.
