Eight Ukrainian drones shot down by Russian air defense systems in past day

MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. Russian air defense and electronic warfare systems downed eight Ukrainian drones, two S-200 missiles and a HIMARS rocket during the past day, the Russian defense ministry said on Sunday.
"Air defense and electronic warfare systems shot down eight Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near the settlements of Podkuichansk in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Slavnoye and Belgorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Peschanovka and Vinogradnoye in the Kherson Regio, and Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye Region, as well as two S-200 guided missiles reequipped to hit ground targets, and a HIMARS rockets," it said.
According to the ministry, as many as 545 planes, 256 helicopters, 9,361 unmanned aerial vehicles, 442 air defense systems, 13,759 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,187 multiple rocket launch systems, 7,224 artillery systems and mortars, and 15,876 special military cars have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
