EL ATEYBA /Syria/, December 3. /TASS/. Servicemen of the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria distributed around four metric tons of humanitarian cargo among residents of El Ateyba in the country’s Rif Dimashq governorate, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
"Servicemen of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties and Refugee Migration Monitoring in the Syrian Arab Republic delivered humanitarian cargo to the settlement of El Ateyba in the province of Rif Dimashq," the statement says.
According to the ministry, the Russian military distributed around 300 sets of various food each weighting about 10 kilograms and one metric ton of clothing and other essential items.
Also, a field medical center received local residents as part of the Russian humanitarian effort.
"Military doctors of the Russian forces examined local residents who sought medical assistance. The patients received the required medicines and advice on treatment," the ministry added.
