US-led coalition’s aircraft violate Syrian airspace three times in past day
Two violations of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019 linked with the flights by the coalition drones were reported in Syria in the past 24 hours
MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. The US-led coalition’s fighter jets violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area three times during the past day, Vadim Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry), said on Tuesday.
"Aircraft of the so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States continues to create dangerous situation that may cause air accident or incidents and escalate the situation in Syria’s airspace," he said. "A pair of the coalition’s Rafale fighter jets and a B-350 reconnaissance plane violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area, across which international air routes run, three times during the day."
According to Kulit, two violations of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019 linked with the flights by the coalition drones were reported in Syria in the past 24 hours.
He also said that two Syrian soldiers were wounded as a result of shelling by militants of illegal armed groups from the settlement of Barza-Fawkani at the positions of Syrian government troops near the settlement of Nahsheba in the Latakia governorate.
