The agency said the aircraft were already in Iran and accepted into service
DUBAI, November 28. /TASS/. Iranian Deputy Defense Minister General Mahdi Farahi confirmed the purchase of Russian Mi-28 helicopters, Su-35 fighters and Yak-130 trainers.
"I can confirm the delivery of Yak-130 trainers, Su-35 fighters and Mi-28 helicopters. The process is ongoing," he told Tasnim news agency, but did not disclose the sum of the deal and the number of aircraft.
The agency said the aircraft were already in Iran and accepted into service. The Iranian Air Force received the first Yak-130 in September, it said.
In January, member of the national security and foreign policy commission of the Iranian parliament Shahriyar Heydari said Iran had ordered Russian Su-35 and the first deliveries were expected in spring. In March, the Iranian embassy to the UN said the Su-35 deal had been completed.
