Assault troops of marine brigades of the Baltic and Pacific fleet near Ugledar have taken a strip of woods with two strongpoints of the Ukrainian armed forces under control, a source in the Russian Defense Ministry told TASS, adding that Ukrainian soldiers retreated without striking a blow.
"Assault groups of marine brigades of the Baltic and Pacific fleet eliminate defended posts and take strongpoints of the Ukrainian armed forces near Ugledar in the South Donetsk direction of the special military operation under control. <…> One of the key strips of woods with two strongpoints of the Ukrainian armed forces surrendered to assault groups of marines almost without firing a shot as the enemy stepped back without accepting battle," the ministry said.
