US-led coalition’s aircraft violate Syrian airspace six times in past day

According to Kulit Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria, seven shelling attacks on positions of government forces by illegal armed groups were reported in the Idlid de-escalation.

MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. The US-led coalition’s fighter jets violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area eight times during the past day, Vadim Kulit, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry), said on Sunday.

"Aircraft of the so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States continues to create dangerous situation that may cause air accident or incidents and escalate the situation in Syria’s airspace," he said. "A pair of F-15, a pair of F-16 and two pairs of Rafale fighter jets violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area, across which international air routes run, eight times during the day."

According to Kulit, seven shelling attacks on positions of government forces by illegal armed groups were reported in the Idlid de-escalation. "As a result of mortar shelling at the positions of government troops near the settlement of Urum al-Sugra in the Aleppo governorate, one Syrian soldier was killed. One Syrian soldier was wounded as a result of the strike with an antitank guided missile made by terrorists near the settlement of Shullin in the Latakia governorate," he said.
