Russian forces repel six Ukrainian attacks near Kupyansk
The adversary’s total losses amount to 50 troops and two unmanned aerial vehicles, Battlegroup Spokesman Sergey Zybinsky said
MOSCOW, November 25. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup West units have thwarted six attacks by assault units of Ukraine’s armed forces, Battlegroup Spokesman Sergey Zybinsky said.
"During combat in the Kupyansk area, Battlegroup West units, taking advantage of aviation and artillery strikes, have repelled six attacks by the assault groups of the 14th mechanized brigade and 15th national guard brigade near Zagoruykovka, Pershotravnevoye, Ivanovka and Yagodnoye," he said.
According to the military official, Russia’s aircraft had delivered strikes on the temporary deployment sites of the 43rd mechanized brigade near Petropavlovka and Kurilovka. Additionally, heavy flamethrowers delivered strikes on personnel from the 14th mechanized brigade near Sinkovka.
Zybinsky added that the group’s counterbattery work wiped out a Gvozdika 122mm motorized artillery system and three mortar crews in the vicinity of Kondrashovka, Petropavlovka and Stepovaya Novoselovka.
