New solutions needed to bolster security of CSTO countries — Belarusian president
The Belarusian leader said that the current meeting will sum up the CSTO activity over the past year
MINSK, November 23. /TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko thinks it necessary to seek new solutions to boost the security of member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
"It is necessary to analyze the main development trends of the military and political situation in the organization’s zone of responsibility both worldwide and in the region. It is necessary to find new solutions on bolstering the security of our countries," the Belarusian leader said, opening a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
The Belarusian leader said that the current meeting will sum up the CSTO activity over the past year. According to him, "the agenda includes the pertinent issues of international and regional security."
