MOSCOW, November 22. /TASS/. The sixth-generation fighter jets will be integrated with other armaments, Designer General and Deputy CEO of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Sergey Korotkov said at the Aerospace Technologies Week in Moscow.
"Today, the unification and integration of new technologies into a single system is a sophisticated stage in the development of a new (sixth-generation) aircraft. It will naturally demand additional effort and means," he said.
The UAC will work to improve technical characteristics and adapt the aircraft to other combat controls and armaments, provide high maneuverability, optimal piloting and multirole capabilities, various regimes of the power plant, he said.
"Naturally, it will demand additional effort and means to finalize and create aviation complexes. The main criterion of a new-generation aviation complex is a compromise between operational-tactical capabilities and life cycle criteria," he said.
