Russia’s state arms seller says all sanctions-related logistics problems resolved
The Dubai Airshow is one of the largest international aerospace exhibitions
DUBAI, November 14. /TASS/. Russia’s state arms seller Rosoboronexport has resolved all sanctions-related logistics and financial issues that impede defense cooperation, the company’s CEO Alexander Mikheyev told reporters at the International Aerospace Exhibition Dubai Airshow 2023.
"Despite the fact that we have been working for some time without SWIFT, without the dollar and without the euro, we have learned in these times to carry out joint settlements. All logistical and financial issues have been resolved. And I think that basically we have chosen the direction, those solutions, which allow us to continue cooperation for many years, including with African countries," he said responding to a related question.
The Dubai Airshow is one of the largest international aerospace exhibitions. The event is held every two years. Russia first took part in 1993. This year, the air show features 20 national pavilions. Over 1,400 manufacturers are putting their products on display, showing off more than 180 aircraft. The exhibition runs from November 13 to 17.
