MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. Russian forces have thwarted five counterattacks by Ukrainian troops in the Kupyansk area over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The ministry added that the Ukrainian losses included over "40 personnel, two armored fighting vehicles, two vehicles, a Polish-made Krab self-propelled howitzer as well as a US-made M777 artillery system.".
