Russian forces wipe out Ukrainian military hardware depot in Odessa Region
MOSCOW, October 7. /TASS/. Russian forces have eliminated a warehouse of the Ukrainian army’s military equipment in the Odessa Region over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"Near the town of Ilyichevsk in the Odessa Region, a depot of the Ukrainian army’s military and technical property was eliminated," its statement said.
According to the military agency, in the Kherson area, Russian forces have eliminated up to 30 Ukrainian troops, two vehicles and a howitzer in 24 hours. Additionally, two sabotage and reconnaissance groups were wiped out in the island zone.
Russia’s aviation, drones, missile troops and artillery have delivered a strike on the adversary’s personnel and hardware in the 121st District. A command post was eliminated near the village of Pobeda in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Munitions and fuel depots were destroyed in the Cherkassy, Kharkov and Poltava regions.
Air defense systems have downed a Su-25 assault jet of the Ukrainian air force near the village of Preobrazhenka. Seven US-made HIMARS rockets and four HARM missiles were intercepted. Additionally radio-electronic warfare systems destroyed or jammed 38 Ukrainian drones in the DPR and Zaporozhye Region.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 487 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 250 helicopters, 7,610 unmanned aerial vehicles, 440 surface-to-air missile systems, 12,387 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,161 multiple rocket launchers, 6,679 field artillery guns and mortars and 13,892 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine.
