MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. No ceasefire violations were reported in Nagorno-Karabakh over the past 24 hours amid the ceasefire, which has been in effect since September 20, the Russian defense ministry said on Sunday.

"The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues its mission in Nagorno-Karabakh. It maintains contact with Baku and Stepanakert to prevent bloodshed, ensure security and the observance humanitarian law in respect of civilians. No ceasefire violations were reported," it said in a regular bulletin on the activities of the peacekeeping contingent in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

According to the ministry, Nagorno-Karabakh’s armed units continue to surrender arms. "As part of the implementation of the agreements on the cessation of combat operations, Karabakh’s armed units continued to surrender arms and combat vehicles under the control of Russian peacekeepers. As of September 24, six armored vehicles, more than 1,200 small arms, anti-tank weapons and man-portable air defense systems, around 130,000 munitions have been surrendered," it said.

According to the ministry, as many as 715 civilians, including 402 children, are remaining at the base camp of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh.

"Russian peacekeepers ensured the delivery of humanitarian cargoes to civilians in Karabakh. A total of 125 tons of food and 65 tons of fuels were delivered," the ministry added.
