MOSCOW, August 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have unsuccessfully tried to advance in the Donetsk and Krasny Liman areas over the pasr 24 hours, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said.

"During the day, the Ukrainian forces made unsuccessful offensive attempts in the Donetsk and Krasny Liman areas," he said.
