Ukraine’s Mi-8 helicopter downed in Donetsk People’s Republic — Russian Defense Ministry
It happened near Vozdvizhenka Settlement
MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/ Russian fighter aircraft shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter in the Donetsk People’s Republic, official spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov said.
"Fighter aviation of the Russian Aerospace Force shot down a Mi-8 helicopter of Ukrainian armed forces near Vozdvizhenka Settlement in the Donetsk People’s Republic," he said.
Russian air defense means also brought down 44 Ukrainian drones over the past day, the spokesman noted.
"Air defense means destroyed 44 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the day," the spokesman said.
In the Dnepropetrovsk Region, a retraining center and a Ukrainian drone repair station were destroyed, Konashenkov informed.
"A retraining center and a drone repair, maintenance and repair station of the Ukrainian armed forces were destroyed near Mogilyovka settlement of the Dnepropetrovsk Region," he added.
