Putin discusses Russia's activity in international organizations with Security Council
The Russian leader then turned the floor over to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for a report
MOSCOW, May 12. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held a video conference meeting on Friday with permanent members of the Security Council.
"I propose to discuss today our activity in some international organizations that are of particular interest to us in the present day conditions," the president said in the opening remarks. He then passed the floor to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for a report.
Taking part in the meeting were also Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Presidential Administration Head Anton Vaino, Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin and Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergey Ivanov.
