Ukraine’s military short of munitions in Krasny Liman area, says LPR officer
Ukrainian troops also find it difficult to move unobserved by Russian forces because many forests have burnt down due to active combat operations and "many open terrain sections have appeared"
LUGANSK, April 11. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military experiences a shortage of munitions and problems with the evacuation of wounded soldiers in the Krasny Liman area due to the successful advance by Russian troops on that frontline, Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) people’s militia retired Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko told TASS on Tuesday.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, Ukrainian militants are experiencing logistics difficulties. As our troops are developing their successes and have placed some terrain sections under their control, the delivery of supplies and ammunition [to the Ukrainian military] and the evacuation of those wounded have become quite difficult and dangerous," the retired LPR officer said, citing Russian intelligence data.
Ukrainian troops also find it difficult to move unobserved by Russian forces because many forests have burnt down due to active combat operations and "many open terrain sections have appeared," Marochko said.
