MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. Russian battlegroup West eliminated over 30 Ukrainian servicemen on the Kupyansk direction, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said Saturday.

"On Kupyansk direction, strikes of tactical and army aviation, artillery fire from the Western battlegroup hit Ukrainian forces near settlements of Grigorovka, Sinkovka, Peschanoye (Kharkov Region) and Stelmakhovka, LPR," Konashenkov said.

According to the spokesman, the enemy lost "over 30 servicemen, two automobiles and a D-20 howitzer.".
