Draft security concept of Union State set to be submitted to Supreme State Council in 2024

MINSK, April 6. /TASS/. A draft security concept of the Union State of Russia and Belarus is planned to be ready for the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Union State in 2024, Alexander Volfovich, the secretary of state of the Belarusian Security Council, told reporters in Moscow on Thursday, the BelTA news agency reported.

"We will try to submit the draft concept to the Supreme State Council for approval by the Supreme State Council meeting in 2024," he was quoted as saying by BelTA.

Volfovich said at the end of September that Belarus and Russia should update the Security Concept of the Union State, given the new challenges and threats.
