ABU DHABI, February 22. /TASS/. Rosoboronexport has presented a system of staggered non-strategic antimissile defense system to foreign customers at the IDEX 2023 defense exhibition, TASS reports.

"A staggered non-strategic antimissile defense system created on the basis of Russian AD-ABM systems is offered as an efficient tool of countering ballistic missiles," according to the presentation.

The system consists of three elements: a reconnaissance subsystem, a control subsystem, and a system of fire engagement with three layers. The first layers is designed to destroy medium-range ballistic missiles, tactical and battlefield missiles using long-range SAM systems and missile systems. The second layer comprises medium-range systems and is designed to engage tactical and battlefield missiles. The third layer comprising short-range air defense aids is designed to engage rocket projectiles and high-precision weapon elements.
