Several more drones shot down off Crimea’s coast, official says
Mikhail Razvozhayev added that the situation in the city was peaceful, and urged people to only trust official information
SEVASTOPOL, February 16. /TASS/. Air defenses have shot down several more Ukrainian drones off Crimea’s coast, Governor of the city of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev said on Telegram on Thursday following an attack on the city.
"An attack on the peninsula was launched last night. Air defense forces and the Black Sea Fleet shot down two out of two Ukrainian drones over the sea. Several more unmanned aerial vehicles were downed off Crimea’s coast," he wrote.
The governor added that the situation in the city was peaceful, and urged people to only trust official information.
Sevastopol is the Black Sea Fleet’s main naval base and attempts have been made to attack it with drones on several occasions over the past few months. One of the latest drone attacks on Sevastopol was conducted on January 16, when air defenses downed ten unmanned aerial vehicles.
